MigoChain is designed to begin with Proof of Stake. The Proof of Work layer activates once the network reaches 30 validators, after a 50,000-block delay and a 24-epoch observation period, through protocol thresholds and a community decision — activation is irreversible.

The PoW reward share is not a fixed percentage — it is an absolute target of 45 MGC (reached via a 262,800-block ramp); that corresponds to roughly 37.5% of the 120 MGC PoS reward cap — but that ratio does not stay fixed as halving progresses. 20% of PoW rewards are allocated to the masternode network. The mining algorithm is expected to be RandomX; the final decision will be made in Phase 9.
